Tournament Results

Saturday 18, April 2015  Sault Ste. Marie, ON

Sixteen martial artists from Blind River & Elliot Lake traveled to Sault Ste. Marie to compete in the KMAC World Dahn Moo Do Open Martial Arts Championships & Regional Qualifying try outs for Team Canada. Our Students competed in four categories, open hand forms, weapons forms, self-defense and sparring.

The competing students were;

These sixteen students can away with a total of 45 medals which included -
5 Gold Metals
13 Silver Metals
13 Bronze Metals
15 Fourth Place Metals

Most of these competitors put in at least 2.5 extra hours of training time a week, above their two hours of regular class training.

Some of our students were in very big division, as many as 25 competitors in some. All were trying to win an invitation to the try outs for Team Canada in Ottawa (long week end in May).

We still have two more tournament before the end of the season.

Saturday June 6 Pinder’s Open Martial Arts Championship in Sault Ste. Marie

I am very proud of all my Students, for a great turn out and for showing true martial artist sportsmanship. I would also like to thank all of the parents for taking them to this tournament.
